Detroit Diesel Electronic Controller

Detroit Diesel Electronic Controllers (DDEC) are known to fail over time, Also when a sensor goes bad, the ECU suffers from an unexpected voltage parameter and the ECU's internal parts fail from overpowering the OEM parts. To correct this problem, HDCS Replaces all known failing components with upgraded name brand parts. Further more, the board is cleaned of all corrosion and damage is repaired by cleaning the ECU of all foreign substances, reenforcing circuit leads, and sealing the ECU to prevent water damage.

Common causes of Detroit Diesel ECU failure are water damage when powerwashing the engine bay. Many times have we seen massive oil damage due to the ECU being located under a leaking or damaged oil pan. Additionally, when exposed to heat over several years, certian parts start to break down on the board and render it useless.

We can repair all DDEC units for $1295 + Shipping. All units will be programmed to the specifications that were stored in the memory.

If we determine your core to be too far gone due to damage. You will be subject to a $350 core charge for a quality off-shelf unit. If your ECU is unrepairable, we will require your engine serial number (06R0-XXXXXX) so we can correctly reprogram the new ECU to your engines specifications and sensors.
